Biblical Justice

When you harvest the crops of your land, do not harvest the grain along the edges of your fields, and do not pick up what the harvesters drop. It is the same with your grape crop—do not strip every last bunch of grapes from the vines, and do not pick up the grapes that fall to the ground. Leave them for the poor and the foreigners living among you. I am the LORD your God. Leviticus 19:9-10 NLT

Biblical Worldview: When you work your land, and it is time to reap the results of your toil, you are to leave some of the produce for the poor and strangers among you. The land is yours, the crops are yours to enjoy, and part of the bounty is to be shared. Those in need are free to glean a share, with the dignity that comes with reaping their own food.

Neo-Marxist Feudalism: You must work the land, but it isn’t really yours. Every bit of the results of your toil are to be harvested and handed over to the ruling class. These elite, who are smarter than you, will enjoy the fruits of your labor. And if there is anything left, they will distribute it amongst the poor, the foreigners, and you, according to their whims.
