Understanding the fullness of God’s character is like a child following a trickling brook. With each new step, the child discovers more and more as the brook flows downstream. Soon, the brook he knew well widens into a fast-moving creek with deepening pools and eventually flows into a mighty river. As he continues to walk the bank, he grows to know the river well. Until one day he looks up and the river has flowed into an immeasurable ocean.
