For Neo-Marxist Progressives politics is religion. That’s why they become verklempt (Note 1) when they start losing. For Conservatives, even though we know politics is important, we have another vision. As human beings, we know that the best politics will not save us and the worst politics will not destroy us. We know that there is a transcendent reality that is more important and bigger than those political realities.
