But if you look closely into the perfect law of liberty that sets people free, and keep on paying attention to it and do not simply listen and then forget it, but put it into practice – you will be blessed by God in what you do. James 1:25

Interpreting the Bible is not a matter of picking and choosing, but of exploring and understanding. We don’t study God’s Word to affirm our own biases or desires. We study it so that we can know God and submit to His authority in our lives.
